Sam Smith The Thrill of It All Asia 2018

Sam Smith is bringing The Thrill Of It All Tour to Asia

*Southeast Asia updates below.

While we in Asia may never get to see Adele, comfort is to be found in the gorgeous, tear-stained music of Sam Smith. And guess what, it’s coming to us live this year.

Three years after a very brief visit on In The Lonely Hour Tour, Smith is returning to Asia with The Thrill Of It All Tour in support of his number one album of the same name.

The four-time Grammy winner has locked down two dates in Japan so far, performing at Tokyo’s Saitama Super Arena on Friday, October 12 and Osaka’s Osaka-jo Hall the following Monday, October 15.

For those not interested in making the trip, we say good things come to those who wait. Japan is most likely not the only one the “Too Good At Goodbyes” crooner sets sights on, given the success of The Thrill Of It All and how empty his October schedule looks right now.

The Thrill Of It All Tour is Sam Smith’s second world tour. It’s set to kick off in the UK in March and run in arenas across the globe until November, when the tour concludes in Perth, Australia.

Update (Feb 28, 5.20pm): It’s happening. Sam Smith announced on Facebook he’d also be performing in Singapore, Manila, Seoul and Bangkok, with more dates to be announced.
