Whether you’re without the means or a general couch-ella potato, we’ve got good news: you can experience Coachella 2018 from the comfort of your home.
For the eight year in a row, YouTube will exclusively broadcast the live performances from the first weekend of the sun-drenched music and arts festival, which runs from Friday, April 13 to Sunday, April 15.
For the Asia-based fans of Beyoncé – who’s finally headlining – Haim, The Weeknd, Post Malone, LANY, alt-J, Tyler, the Creator and many more who’ve got nothing planned and/or not celebrating Songkran can head to the festival’s YouTube channel this weekend and choose, from four, the live stream feed of your liking.
According to Billboard, there will be an immersive VR180 channel that lets you experience the festival as if you were there, using the technology like Google Cardboard and Daydream View.
You can also create a personalised viewing schedule ahead of time so the your screen will automatically switch to the feed your pre-selected act is on. And here are the confirmed 78 acts you can see (so far):
