Shura is among some of the most anticipated acts at this year’s Wonderfruit Festival.
But on Monday the festival announced the synthpop singer-songwriter had pulled out her performance, also her Thailand debut, just a few days before the Pattaya festival kicks off, citing “personal reasons”. Reader her full statement below:
“I’m absolutely gutted to say that, due to personal reasons, I’m having to cancel Wonderfruit Festival in Thailand. It’s never fun to cancel shows and I’m hugely sorry to anyone who was looking forward to me playing. I was really looking forward to finally playing a show in your part of the world and whilst I won’t be making it on this occasion I promise to come back one day. Big love, Shura.”
According to Wonderfruit, the announcement will be made on the British singer’s official page soon.
