Sónar Hong Kong has revealed the first performers for its 2018 return, led by French legend Laurent Garnier, US tech-house sensation The Black Madonna, and Japanese jazz-infused post-rockers Mouse on the Keys.

Barcelona’s iconic electronic festival is set to make a second coming to Asia on Saturday, March 17 at Hong Kong Science Park, a day brimming with cutting-edge performances and innovative attractions.

In addition to the three top-billers, French electro trailblazer Jacques, Canadian electronic hip-hop trio Keys N Krates, and Berlin bass commandos Symbiz are gearing up to command the stage.

Electronic innovators Heidi, Laurel Halo, Mala, Mount Kimbie and Sevdaliza round off the eclectic international lineup while local highlights include rapper Fotan Laiki, DJs K-Melo, Re:Flex, Sunsiaré, Basil Tam and Tedman Lee.

Covering a wide range of genres, from hip-hop and grime to techno, house and experimental electronica, the festival will feature six stages – two outdoor and four indoor – and, in a quintessential Sónar fashion, the Sónar+D programme which showcases the world’s latest innovations in creative technology.

Tickets are available now on the festival’s website, going at HKD880 for all-access SónarPass tickets and HKD180 for Sónar+D. Groups of four getting the SónarPass can enjoy a 10% discount.
