Symmetry Entertainment announced today STRFKR’s upcoming debut show in Singapore has been cancelled.
The Portland rockers were originally slated to perform on Sunday, October 8 atΒ Aliwal Art Centre as part of their eight-date Asia tour.

“We were both excited about the performance and tried our best to make this happen but due to reasons beyond our control, STRFKR will be unable to enter Singapore for a performance,” the promoter wrote on Facebook.
While the statement didn’t go into detail,Β fans can learn the reason from the band themselves. STRFKR took to Twitter Wednesday night and cited their “positive views on marijuana”.
Hey everyone in Singapore, weβre very sad to say our show on the 8th has been canceled. We are being denied entry into the country.

When a fan asked how the government came by this knowledge, the band further explained:
They have an agency that apparently searches through all past social media posts of visiting artist and musicians.
