One of this year’s most-anticipated festivals in the Philippines, the inaugural edition of In The Mix brings the return of The 1975 to their pinoy fans.

But that’s not all. Beside the British genre-defying quartet, MMI Live and Ovation Productions’ latest undertaking will feature six international artists, breakthrough and old favourites, including James Bay, Third Eye Blind, Panic! At The Disco, Elle King and Twin Pines.

The festival will be held on August 18 at Mall of Asia Arena. Tickets will be on sale soon on May 21 at SM Tickets Outlets, SMtickets.com or call 470-2222. Follow @MMILive and @OvationProd on Twitter for more information.

The 1975’s attendance for In The Mix is a follow up to the band’s promise to return to the country at their Manila gig in 2015. The indie rock band will be back with new sounds from their second album I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It, which took the number one spot on Billboard Hot 200 album. The 1975 has produced numerous alt-rock hits to date, such as “Chocolate”, “Girls”, and “Sex”.
