Our friends at Songs For Children are back with another cool project. This time they’re bringing British shoegaze and synth duo The KVB to Singapore!

You can catch them live for the first time in Asia at Headquarters by The Council 6 Boat Quay this October 26.

Formed in 2010 by Nicholas Wood andΒ Kat Day, The KVBΒ blend reverb-soaked shoegaze with minimalist electronic production to create their unique ethereal sound. They debuted with 2012’s full-length albumΒ Always Then. Two more albums, Immaterial Visions and Minus One, arrivedΒ the following year.

In 2014, the duo ventured to Brian JonestownΒ Massacre mastermind Anton Newcombe’s Berlin studio to track what would become their Out of Body EP, released later that year. The duoΒ collected some of the more experimental output they recorded in 2014 on Mirror Being.

There brand new album Of Desire, release this year,Β has been praised by critics as “enticing, purely capable of manufacturing a mind bending auditory experience within a matter of moments”,Β claiming 4 stars from NME, The Guardian and Mojo.
