After putting us on hold for almost two months, The xx have finally added Bangkok to their 2018 Asia outing.
Promoter Viji Corp confirmed today the acclaimed London trio will be performing in the Thai capital for the first time on Monday, January 29 at Thunder Dome Muang Thong Thani.

The show is part of I See You Tour that supports the group’s third LP with the same name. While in Asia, they’ll also visit Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Hong Kong, Taipei and Tokyo.

Formed in London in 2005, The xx are Romy Madley Croft (vocals, lead guitar), Oliver Sim (vocals, bass guitar), and Jamie Smith (beats, MPC sampler). In 2009 the group gained prominence with their Mercury Prize-winning self-titled debut album which features hits like “VCR”, “Crystalised” and “Island”. They’re also known for “Angels”, “Chained”, “On Hold”, “I Dare You” and “Say Something Loving” from followup albums, Coexist (2011) and I See You (2017).
