Big news for J-pop fans! timelesz, formerly known as Sexy Zone, has officially revealed its five new members, transforming into an eight-member group after months of intense auditions. The announcement was made during a press conference at Universal Music Japan on February 15, right after the final episode of their Netflix docuseries, “timelesz project -AUDITION-“, aired worldwide.
Joining original members Fuma Kikuchi, So Matsushima, and Shori Sato are:

The moment was made even more special when Sho Sakurai of Arashi joined as a guest host for the final audition round—an exciting surprise for fans!
The road to this moment was anything but easy. Over 18,900 applicants competed for a spot in timelesz, with each round cutting the numbers down until eight finalists battled it out in the final challenge on February 5, 2025.
At the press conference, Fuma Kikuchi shared an emotional message:
“From now on, we call ourselves ‘family,’ and our family name is timelesz.” He also expressed the group’s dream of holding a dome tour as soon as possible—something fans are already looking forward to!
To celebrate their new era, timelesz will be releasing:

✨ Compilation Album: Hello! We’re timelesz – featuring 12 fan-favorite tracks, including Anthem (from the audition series) and their hit song RUN
