Every year this densely-populated Southeast Asian city scores visits from the biggest names in the music industry, from Korean boybands to global pop superstars hailing from the heart of Tinseltown. BTS (Bang Tan So Nyeon) – 花樣年華 On Stage: Epilogue (Jul 30)
Hiphop boyband BTS will definitely heat up the summer with “2016 BTS Live 花樣年華 on Stage: Epilogue in Manila” at the end of the month. The K-pop’s unstoppable septet will be performing on July 30 at Mall of Asia Area starting 6PM. Tickets range from PHP1,000 (General Admission) to 12,720 (VIP Standing). Selena Gomez – Revival Tour (Jul 31)

Charlie Puth – Nine Track Mind Tour (Aug 14)
Next up, Grammy-winning pop star Charlie Puth is set to perform in Manila again as part of his Nine Track Mind Tour 2016 at Kia Theatre on August 14. With tickets on sale since April, this hotly-anticipated concert have already sold out. Check out third-party seller websites or Facebook groups for last-minute deals.
In The Mix Manila (Aug 17)
Also held in August is one of this year’s most hypable mini festival in the Philippines, the inaugural edition of In The Mix. The one-day event will delight Pinoy fans with British genre-defying quartet The 1975, along with a diverse lineup of international artists, including James Bay, Third Eye Blind, Panic! At The Disco, Elle King and Twin Pines. Tickets are available here from PHP1,060 to 13,250.
The Chainsmokers Live In Manila 2016 (Aug 19)
American electro house duo The Chainsmokers, Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, will be returning to Manila on August 19 for their first arena show in the Philippines. The concert will be held at Mall of Asia with tickets ranging from PHP3,180 to 5,830. Get your tickets here.
NYC-based pop rock band Against The Current are set to return to Manila this September for In Our Bones World Tour, a follow-up headlining tour to their successful visit last year. Pentatonix World Tour 2016 (Sep 24)
Two-time Grammy-winning a cappella group Pentatonix is back to delight their Filipino fans this September. Best known for their viral YouTube uploads and coming the first place on NBC’s The Sing-Off, the Texan quintet will be performing on September 24 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Mayday Parade Live in Manila (Oct 15)
Mayday Parade is playing Samsung Hall, SM Aura on Saturday October 15 and definitely bringing local punk fiends all their hits since the breakthrough in 2005, including “Miserable At Best”, “Save Your Heart” and “Jamie All Over”.
