Justin Bieber and Rihanna are confirmed as headliners at the year’s V Festival, which returns in its 21st edition this August 20 and 21.
V Festival will be Rihanna’s “only UK festival of the summer” according to organisers, ruling her out of Glastonbury, while the “Love Yourself” singer will perform there for the first time, The Independent reports.

Other big and emerging artists joining them include Sia, David Guetta, Rita Ora, Kaiser Chiefs, Bastille, Little Mix, Jess Glynne, Years & Years, Troye Sivan and Halsey. Check out the announced lineup so far.
V Festival 2016 will return with the best of pop, rock and electronic music to Chelmsford’s Hylands Park and Staffordshire’s Weston Park to celebrate its 21st birthday. Tickets go on sale today (Feb 26) 9.30 AM (GMT) onwards at varying prices: £89 for day a ticket, £165 for a weekend without camping, and £189 for a weekend with camping. Booking fee will be charged.
Celebrating its 21st birthday, the festival has more to offer than music. Across the festival site, attendees will find all sorts of carnival rides, popup game booths, bars, food and beverage stalls, shops and other common activity areas.
V Festival was founded in 1996 and was traditionally a rock music festival but today a wide range of music genres have been included. The name “V” represents the Virgin Group which is the British multinational branded venture capital conglomerate, the main sponsor of the event.
