Weval unleashes new single ‘Minute By Minute’

Weval’s forthcoming four-track EP, March On, will be out on April 29 via Ninja Tune imprint Technicolour.

‘Minute By Minute’ is the lead single from Weval’s upcoming EP, March On.. The new track features hypnotic vocals and sounds inspired by the late 90s, its elements lifted straight from genres such as trip hop and big beat.

The duo comments,

“Inspiration for this track was the start of Underworld’s biggest hit ‘Born Slippy’. We always wanted to hear the intro over and over again.”

The EP will also feature three other tracks – the title track and record closer ‘March On’, a second song reminiscent of 90s electronic music in ‘Time Goes’, and post break-up tune ‘All Alone’.

Last year saw the duo release Changed For The Better EP, which received acclaim from The Vinyl Factory, Magnetic Mag, Alfitude, and Northern Transmissions.

March On EP is due out April 29 via Technicolour.
