When We Were Young Festival brings numerous 2000s-era emo and pop punk bands to Las Vegas

Taking a trip through emo pop punk memory lane, When We Were Young Festival will take place at Las Vegas on October 22, 2022. Headliners include My Chemical Romance and Paramore, both bands who went on a hiatus.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale this Friday.

Many who went through middle to high school listening to emo and pop punk bands in the 2000s will be delighted to hear that all their favorite groups are coming back in one massive festival.

When We Were Young Festival is about to relive the glory days of pop punk and emo at Las Vegas, Nevada on October 22, 2022. Fans can sign up for the ticket pre-sale this Friday here.

Headlining bands include Paramore and My Chemical Romance, both who have been on hiatus.

Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams released a solo album in 2020 titled Petals for Armor since the band went on break in 2018.

My Chemical Romance, who took a seven-year break before returning to the stage in 2019 for a reunion show in Los Angeles, were slated to go on tour in 2020 before COVID-19 hit. They plan to tour again later this year.

Nostalgic bands participating in the festival include the likes of Alkaline Trio, Anberlin, All-American Rejects, AFI, Avril Lavigne, Bring Me The Horizon, Boys Like Girls, Dashboard Confessional, Jimmy Eat World, Car Seat Headrest, Saosin, Senses Fail, The Starting Line, Story of the Year, The Used, We The Kings, Poppy, Wolf Alice, and many more.
