Mark your calendar, SM Town fans, Super Junior’s Yesung and girl group Red Velvet are coming to Malaysia this month for a free admission K-pop concert.

They’ll be joined by SM Family’s own magnaes NCT 127 and local opening acts, rapper Altimet and pop group De Fam, taking the stage I·SEOUL·U Concert on Tuesday, May 23 at KLCC Convention Centre. The one-night-only concert is brought to you by Seoul Metropolitan Government.

Beside music, K-pop and Korean culture enthusiasts can head to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and enjoy an array of halal Korean cuisine, activities and performances. The event is put together to promote Seoul tourism.

A lead raspy voice crooner of K-pop giants Super Junior, Yesung made his solo debut in April 2016 with first EP Here I Am. Last month, he released second EP Spring Falling, which features lead single “Paper Umbrella”.

Known for hits like “Ice-cream Cake”, “Dumb Dumb” and “Russian Roulette”, Red Velvet debuted in 2014 and are the youngest girl group from the SM Town family. The group consists of Irene, Wendy, Joy, Seulgi and Yeri, who joined the group in March 2015.

A sub-unit of R&B group NCT, NCT 127 are Taeil, Johnny, Jaehyun, Taeyong, doYoung, Yuta, Win Win, Mark and Haechan. The group debuted last July with EP NCT #127, featuring singles like “Fire Truck” and “Switch”.
