Asia Live 365 is thrilled to announce XG as our Artist of the Month for July 2024! This month, we’re celebrating a girl group taking the Asian music scene by storm with their amazing performances and undeniable talent. 

Who is XG?

XG is a 7-member HIPHOP/R&B-inspired girl group about breaking boundaries and making history. Meet JURIN, CHISA, HINATA, HARVEY, JURIA, MAYA, and COCONA, the dynamic talents behind XG. They exploded onto the scene in March 2022 with their debut single, “Tippy Toes,” brought in part by XGALX, a global entertainment company renowned for its unique artists and bold, daring culture. 

Rise To Fame

In September 2023, XG dropped their first mini-album, “NEW DNA,” and it shot straight to the top of the Billboard JAPAN “Hot Albums” chart. A few months later, in November 2023, they wowed fans with their first solo live concert, “XG’ NEW DNA’ SHOWCASE in JAPAN,” at the Pia Arena MM. But that’s not all—these girls have been rocking stages at major music festivals and gracing media outlets worldwide, from the United States to Japan, Korea, Australia, Singapore, the UAE, Malaysia, and China. 

Breaking Records

XG isn’t just making waves; they’re making history. They became the first Japanese artists to top the U.S. Billboard “Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter” chart and the first Japanese girl group to feature on the cover of the U.S. magazine “Billboard.” The name “XG” stands for “Xtraordinary Girls,” they live up to it by empowering people worldwide with their powerful music and unforgettable performances. 

Recent Tour Success

XG’s recent tour across major Asian cities has been a massive success. Their shows have been sold out from Tokyo to Bangkok, filled with excited fans and an energetic atmosphere. Their ability to engage and connect with audiences sets them apart, making them one of the most exciting acts.
