The BRIT Awards 2016 has concluded: Adele was officially crowned Queen of the BRITs, taking home four big awards including Best British Female, Best Album, Best Single and Global Success.

“To come back after so long away and be so warmly received means so much,” she expressed in one of her acceptance speeches.

Another big win of the night went to One Direction. 1/2 of the British boy band, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne made an appearance to receive British Artist Video of the Year for “Drag Me Down”.

The BRIT Awards ceremony was held on February 24 at The O2 Arena in London. It’s the biggest award show in the UK and is considered to be the British equivalent of America’s Grammy Awards.
