The American pop and punk rock band have rescheduled their entire upcoming dates in Australia and Asia.

Last in Singapore 2012 and previously in 2010, the band was initially slated to start their Australia-Asia Tour (of their self-titled 2006 album, and more!) on April 9, with shows in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Cebu, Manila, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.
Sadly due to the rapidly evolving situation that has affected everyone globally, no one in the arts, entertainment and music industry has been spared, including the boys.
 Their statement below:
Sad to say, unfortunately due to the COVID-19 spread,  we have to reschedule our asia/australia tour dates. we wanted to play so badly for you, but also we want to keep everyone safe and healthy. good news is we have new dates for these shows. we will see you in september.
All previous tickets purchased will be valid for the new postponed date. ticketing info should appear soon on each ticket website. Refunds available at point of purchase, please contact your ticket provide for additional questions.”

It is however advisable to note though, that Boys Like Girls will now be performing in Singapore right smack during Singapore’s F1 week and race weekend.
Unfortunately, this also means that those working at the Grand Prix (like me) might have trouble attending.
Alas, perhaps we’ll plan our Great Escape another time, lads!
Unless you wanna find me at the Pit Building… 😉
