Coldplay unveils their highly anticipated tenth album, “Moon Music,” to be released on October 4, 2024. The first single, “feelslikeimfallinginlove,” dropped globally on June 21.
In line with their commitment to sustainability, this is the first album released as a 140g EcoRecord LP made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. The album will also be available in a limited Notebook Edition featuring Chris Martin’s studio notes.

A Sustainable Release
Coldplay’s dedication to sustainability extends to the physical release of “Moon Music.” The EcoRecord LP is produced from recycled PET plastic bottles, reducing the use of virgin plastic and lowering CO2 emissions significantly. The band collaborates with The Ocean Cleanup to produce the Notebook Edition EcoRecord LP, incorporating river plastic intercepted from Rio Las Vacas in Guatemala.
The CD editions will be released on EcoCDs, created from 90% recycled polycarbonate, further minimizing environmental impact.
Limited First Edition Moon Music
The first edition of “Moon Music” (both EcoRecord LP and EcoCD) will be strictly limited and produced at a higher specification to reduce waste. All first-edition EcoRecord LP products are individually numbered.
