Lo-fi lovers are in for a treat as New Jersey indie outfit Ducktails are mapping out their first Bangkok gig.
Promoter HAVE YOU HEARD? confirmed today the Matt Mondanile-fronted band will be performing on Friday, November 17 at Rockademy Thailand. South Korean garage rockers Parasol and local pop group Temp are set to support.

Before co-founding and making his mark in indie band Real Estate, singer-songwriter Matt Mondaline made hypnagogic, bedroom pop music as a solo project. Under moniker Ducktails, he released cassettes and 7-inch records on various independent labels. The project became a full band with the addition of Malcolm Perkins (guitar), Josh da Costa (bass) and Ross Chait (drums).

Ducktails are often associated with the rise of hypnagogic and vaporwave music. They’re best known for “Letter of Intent”, “Headbanging In The Mirror”, “The Flower Lane” and most recently “Light A Candle”.
