Hailing from Perth, Australia, Tame Impala is returning to Singapore at The Star Theatre on April 21, 2016.
They’ll also be performing for the first time in Malaysia on April 23. The band’s joining several other headliners at music and arts festival Urbanscapes.
Tickets for the show go on sale this January 21 through Ticket Pro. Phase 1 (early bird) tickets are priced at RM199, phase 2 at RM229 and phase 3 at RM259.
Singapore’s promoter Secret Sounds announced today tickets would be available from SISTIC from 9AM, February 1, 2016, ranging from SGD68 to SGD148.
Tame Impala is made up of Kevin Parker (guitar, vocals), Jay Watson (synthesiser, vocals, guitar), Dominic Simper (guitar, synthesiser), Cam Avery (bass guitar, vocals) and Julien Barbagallo (drums, vocals). Since their first EP in 2008 and full-length follow-ups Innerspeaker (2010) and Lonerism (2012), the band have garnered a growing fanbase and international acclaim. Their 2015 release Currents have already won several Australian ARIA Awards and been nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the Grammys.
