Pelupo Festival will take place on March 11, 2023 across two stages at the Siam Country Club in Pattaya, Thailand.
A brand new music festival called Pelupo was announced this morning along with two headliners – Norwegian indie folk duo Kings of Convenience and French pop rock quartet Phoenix.
More artists include Texas-based indie-pop band Summer Salt, Canadian indie band Men I Trust, British jazz quintet Ezra Collective, and J-pop singer Hinano. The full lineup will be announced at a later date.
The festival will take place across two stages on March 11 amid the same green fields of this month’s Wonderfruit Festival at the Siam Country Club in Pattaya.
If that location sounds familiar, that’s because it is the same location where lifestyle Wonderfruit Festival takes place every year. Additionally, the date falls on the same day when Harry Styles performs in Bangkok.
The inaugural edition is organized by prominent indie music organizer Viji Corp., which has previously booked shows by the likes of Nine Inch Nails, The Killers, Bon Iver, and most recently, Icelandic post rock trio Sigur Ros.
Tickets start at THB3,500 and they go on sale online tomorrow.
