Swedish dubstep producer Liquid Stranger drops his first original single of the year with ‘The Drill’, a devastating bass anthem that mercilessly rips through speakers.
‘The Drill’, released via Liquid Stranger’s WAKAAN imprint, is the producer’s second release this year. The track follows his Psychonaut remix album which featured reworks by AstroLizard, Blanke, Hydraulix, Krischvn, LICK, LUZCID, and Mersiv.
‘The Drill’ is an earth-shattering production, starting with a hypnotic melody before plunging into chaos with powerful stabbing synths and vicious drops. There’s even an ominous figure chanting “connect the bass beams.”
Renowned for crafting unique dubstep tracks that merges various music genres such as Latin, Asian, and even Jamaican dancehall music, Martin Stääf AKA Liquid Stranger has earned a reputation for taking listeners on a soul-stirring aural journey that defies conventional sounds.
Chillbase’s Martin Woods described his music as “unique blend of ambience, big band jazz, dubstep and psychedelica drizzled over electronic dub reggae grooves.”
