Swedish DJ trio Moodshift return with a second remix pack featuring reworks of their third single, ‘Touch’, by Simon Field and MNI.

Simon Field’s take on the single features a darker tone with heavy synths and atmospheric production talents, delivering a fresh take on the original.

He says,

‘I’ve been a big fan of Moodshift and Oliver Nelson and have been supporting their releases from the get-go. It’s an honour to be asked to take part in this release by giving my techy spin on it. Can’t wait to hear this one on dance radios and perform it in the club whenever they open.’

MNI’s remix maintains the same brooding energy before diving into a fun, hefty bass house rhythm. The uplifting funky beat lives to up to the original, rounding out the two-track remix EP.

MNI says,

‘MNI’s vision for the remix was to transmute the energy of Moodshift’s original track into a parallel world in the future where people will be dancing in clubs again.’

Simon Field’s innovative sound draws in over 655,000 monthly listeners, with support from BBC Radio 1’s Scott Mills, Tiësto, and Joel Corry.

His remix for Moodshift’s ‘Touch’ follows his latest single released in January, ‘So Cold’, which featured the vocal talents of Clare Sophia.

MNI is an enigmatic music project whose goal is “to disseminate the beloved Berlin-centric sound through a nostalgic pop filter.” Their remix is the first release by the secretive creative force.
