After debuting on renowned label Anjunabeats earlier this year with hit single ‘Stratus’, the St. Louis-based producer is back with another impactful single, ‘Echelon’.
‘Echelon’, now available across all streaming platforms, displays Notaker’s penchant for glitch-driven melodies and midtempo swirls.
With atmospheric elements and uplifting synths, the single touches on various influences and showcases the producer’s adventurous side.
Notaker says,
“During lockdown, I’ve been pushing new boundaries with my productions and have amassed a large amount of unreleased work. As the world re-emerges so will these new records, with ‘Echelon’ being the first of many.”
At the beginning of this year, Notaker previously dropped ‘Airlock’ for the yearly mau5trap compilation, We Are Friends Vol. 10.
He later debuted on Anjunabeats with ‘Stratus’ as part of the label’s third volume of ‘Anjunabeats Rising’ series.
David Nothaker aka Notaker entered the EDM scene in 2016 with his Monstercat hit ‘Infinite’, which has gained over 10 million Spotify streams.
His first EP, The Genesis, gained widespread recognition and landed him a spot in the popular video game Rocket League’s soundtrack.
In 2018, his first contribution to mau5trap, EREBUS I EP, climbed to #6 on iTunes’ top electronic albums chart.
