California-based indie band Peach Tree Rascals will be heading to Singapore this July for its first-ever concert in the country. The Bay Area music collecve’s live show will be held on July 19th at the Hard Rock Cafe Singapore. Tickets will go on sale May 30th, 10 am, via Sisc outlets and Sisc.com.sg.
Peach Tree Rascals are a music collective from San Jose, California. The group achieved fame with their song, “Mariposa,” which went viral on TikTok. The group has been featured on New Music Friday and has received critical acclaim from Billboard, Pigeons and Planes, and MTV.
The group is composed of singer-rappers Isaac Pech, Tarrek Abdel-Khaliq and Joseph Barros as well as producer and mixer Dominic “Dom” Pizano and creative director Jorge Olazaba. The group formed as a group of friends in high school, with many of them being second-generation children of immigrants. Pech moved to Khaliq’s and Pizano’s high school and became a part of their friend group, creating CD’s and inspiring the group to create music.
As the band grew, they added Jasper Barros, the mastermind behind some of the guitar tracks on their biggest hits, and EJ Aenza, Jorge’s right-hand man assisng him with all things creave. 16 songs and a debut EP later, the group has accumulated over 300M streams and have received cerfied gold for their
track, “Mariposa,” which also reached #1 on the Alternave Radio Chart. “Mariposa” also became a TikTok hit and has accumulated more than 321 million streams on digital music plaorm Spofy and 67 million views on video sharing site YouTube. Some of their other most popular songs include “Fumari”, and “Deer”. The music collecve has gained a significant following on social media plaorms like TikTok and have been known for their catchy melodies,
emoonal lyrics, and unique sound.
