With thirty sold-out shows on their UK/European tour, this year’s hottest indie band Hinds is set to perform in Singapore on May 11 in “Songs for Children present Hinds Live in Singapore”.
Hailing from Madrid, the girl-only band will be jamming at Kult Kafe, Singapore with support from Singapore’s hottest quintet Obedient Wives Club, DJ Jane Blondel, and DJ Mike Mystery.
Tickets are now on sale through Peatix for SGD35 (advance standard ticket) and SGD30 (student price). At-door tickets will be SGD40.
With four band members, all under 25, Hinds is one of this year’s hottest indie breakouts. The band recently debuted their latest album Leave Me Alone in January, featuring twelve tracks, which includes their latest single “Garden”, and previous hits such as “Bamboo”, “Castigadas En El Granero”, and “Chili Town”. The album scored raving reviews from several critics, including NME, Pitchfork, Line of Best Fit, Consequence of Sound, and Drowned in Sound.
Hinds embarked on their first world tour in 2015, playing at SXSW, Benicassim, Best Kept Secret, Dot to Dot, and are currently on their second tour playing Reading and Leeds, Glastonbury, Bestival and more later this year.
The band’s exuberant live shows and audience reaction mirror the magic of early shows from The Ramones, The Strokes and The Libertines so it’s no surprise they have supported the last two, along with The Vaccines and The Black Lips.
