Award-winning DJ-producer Steve Aoki says:
“Tomorrowland is always a special festival for me year after year, and while we’ll have to wait for 2021 to all be back together person, I’m honored and excited to be a part of Tomorrowland’s digital festival that will be uniting so many people from around the world in a way that hasn’t been done before.”
DJMag’s #1 DJ Dimitri Vegas, who will be headlining the event alongside Like Mike, says:
“My brother and I will be performing on the spectacular Mainstage at our very first digital festival. I’m really excited for this, and actually even nervous if I’m being totally honest. We’re used to playing in front of thousands of people, so we’ll definitely miss the live audience and the vibes from the crowd, but at the same time it will be great fun to experiment and try out new things.”
Amelie Lens also says:
“I am very excited to be playing at my very first digital festival ever! I honestly cannot wait.”
In addition to the lineup, more details have been revealed for attendees. Visitors will be able to navigate around the festival through a newly created Tomorrowland location with a PC, laptop, smartphone or tablet – no special VR equipment required. This will enable everyone to have a new level of interactivity with their friends.
Apart from the performances, there are also interactive experiences to choose from including inspirational webinars, games and workshops related to lifestyle, food, fashion and the Tomorrowland Foundation.
Tomorrowland 2020 – ‘Around the World’ will begin next month on July 25-26 between 3pm-1am CEST. There will be a ‘time-zone-friendly’ option for visitors from Asia and North or South America.
Ticket sales start this Thursday, June 18 via Tomorrowland’s official website. A day ticket costs €12.50. Weekend tickets cost €20.00 and includes a week of video-on-demand content to relive the entire experience. Special People of Tomorrow packages and Home Party packages will be available.
