The singer-songwriter comments,

Rising to prominence in 2019 with his Long Game EP and viral hit ‘The Way I Am’, Gavin Haley made waves on social media and became incredibly popular in Southeast Asia.
In 2020, he became the #1 trending topic online in Thailand after collaborating with Mew Suppasit on a new version of ‘The Way I Am’.
Outside of Thailand, the song also made it into the Top 10 trending topics in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Philippines.
