Grammy-winning metal giants Megadeth are bringing Dystopia World Tour to Malaysia.
After a much-anticipated wait, today promoter IME Asia announced Megadeth’s debut performance in Kuala Lumpur is set to take place on Thursday, May 4, 2017 (8PM) at Stadium Negara.

The Malaysia date is the latest one added to the band’s Asian leg of the tour, following Manila on April 29 and Singapore on May 2.
“Kuala Lumpur is somewhere I’ve always wanted to hit when we’ve been trekking through Asia,” co-founder and frontman Dave Mustaine was quoted saying in an interview recently.”They’re going to let us bring our brand of metal music, it’s really rewarding.”
Tickets to Dystopia World Tour in Malaysia are priced at RM198, RM288, RM358, RM388 and RM428, available via TicketCharge or hotline +603-92228811 starting this February 10.
Fans also can purchase ticket at selected outlets: Speedy Video, Victoria Music, Rock Corner, Chambers Music, PJ Live Arts, information counter at The Mines shopping mall and 1 Shamelin, or outstation outlets such as Eden Ultimate (Kuantan) and Blonde Brunette (Penang).

The Dystopia World Tour is in support of the Californian band’s latest album Dystopia, their fifteenth album to date.
One of metal’s original “Big Four”, Megadeth burst onto the scene thirty years ago. Since formation in 1983, Megadeth have sold more than 38 million albums worldwide, earning numerous accolades including 12 Grammy nominations and scoring five consecutive platinum albums. The band’s current lineup includes Dave Mustaine on vocals and guitar, David Ellefson on bass, guitarist Kiko Loureiro and drummer Dirk Verbeuren.
