JOOX takes karaoke to the next level with new Quick Sing feature, letting music fans sing and dance to their favorite tunes anytime and anywhere. JOOX users in Malaysia can also join the “Be The Star 2020” campaign, a talent search competition with prizes including a RM10,000 cash prize, and a song release opportunity.

JOOX, Asia’s music streaming platform, has made karaoke more accessible and convenient for fans during these unprecedented times. The app’s new Quick Sing feature will let friends and families sing and dance to their favorite hits as well as share these fun moments with others from around the world.

However, instead of singing full songs, the new feature pre-selects each song’s chorus parts in order to let users focus on the songs’ most exciting sections in their videos and allows them to showcase their creative dance moves.

Using Quick Sing is simple as it is:

1. Enter the JOOX app, click “SING” in the top right corner, and see the “Quick Sing” button in the middle.

2. There is a wide range of songs for your selection at the top. Once you find the song you want, simply click the “Quick Sing” button.

3. JOOX users can choose to sing any part of the song by using the select function from the chorus to different verses throughout the songs.

Poshu Yeung, Vice President of Tencent IBG, said,

“With JOOX, karaoke is now an all-round entertainment and interactive experience that goes beyond just singing. JOOX has always strived to fulfill the emerging demand for karaoke with the introduction of the new Quick Sing feature, offering users more opportunities to interact with family and friends. This is made even more special today when most music fans, especially the younger ones, yearn for more entertainment activities while staying at home amid the pandemic, which include creating short videos to showcase their dancing and music talents.”

JOOX will also create various Quick Sing challenges for users to participate in such as grooving along to red-hot hits such as “To Be Young” by Anne-Marie (ft. Doja Cat) and “My Oh My”. Even K-Pop boy bands ONF and NU’EST as well as popular Mandopop singers Jam Hsiao and JJ Lin have shown off their charm in singing and dancing on JOOX with Quick Sing.
