Let it be said that there can never be too many #throwback music events. And boy, has this upcoming festival got some exciting names for you.
Manila’s Playback Music Festival is set to debut on Saturday, February 10 at Circuit Makati Events Ground with British boyband Blue, Sixpence None The Richer frontwoman Leigh Nash, alternative rockers Vertical Horizon and Rockwell Ryan’s post-grunge project Stephen Speaks.

Joining these 90’s and noughties favourites are three homegrown pop and alternative acts: Rivermaya, Moonstar88 and MYMP.
Beside the music, Playback will be the first of its kind to offer fans the chance to relive the decades past through various activities. Expect computer and arcade games, iconic “school gate” snacks, butterfly clips, elephant pants, movie screenings, cable television and the birth of the World Wide Web.

Tickets are available through all SM Tickets outlets starting November 25, with early bird prices going at PHP2,590 (General Admission) / 3,590 (Gold) / 4,900 (Platinum B) and 5,300 (Platinum A). The prices will go up after December 17. Check out privileges that come with each ticket type here.
