The British singer-songwriter, who was due to perform in Singapore in a rescheduled date in August this year, has now had to cancel all his upcoming gigs around the world for the foreseeable future.
The music artist was slated to play in Singapore, Taipei, Hong Kong, Seoul and Tokyo this year, as well as tour to the US.
Major took to social media to announce the unfortunate cancellation.
“Hello. ♥️ Some inevitable news: I have no option but to cancel all my shows for the foreseeable future, due to the virus. This includes my rescheduled 2020 tour of N.America. I can promise you I will be among the very FIRST people to be touring again as soon as it is safe for everyone involved. Silver lining: as I’m not touring I’ll be making new music instead, and when we do see each other again I’ll have new songs to play you. 😊😊 Keep safe, keep your heads up, there is light at the end of this ghastly tunnel. 🌍 Bx”
Singapore promoter Symmetry also confirmed the Singapore gig cancellation:
“Hoping that everyone is staying safe this circuit breaker! The Bruno Major concert originally rescheduled in August is now not going to happen due to the infeasibility of touring. We will reach out to all ticket holders via iGo regarding refunds. We will be back! Live music will be back! Till then, stay strong and be well ❤️”
In the meantime, (while we wait for touring to re-commence again), have a listen to Bruno Major’s latest single.
