Indie pop darling Frances Forever has released the music video for their charting viral hit ‘Space Girl’.
Directed by Christina Xing, the new music video is a “spacey sweet non-binary love story” with an 80s aesthetic reminiscent of John Hughes’ films, and features two starcrossed teens.
The MV follows Frances Forever’s recent signing to Mom + Pop Music last year, along with the release of the reworked version of ‘Space Girl’ featuring indie artist and YouTube personality Chloe Moriondo.
‘Space Girl’ became a viral hit for the indie pop artist, gaining over 54 million streams globally, and 550 million video views and over 550,000 videos created on TikTok.
Frances Forever has been featured in lists as one of the artists to look out for this year, being featured in publications such as Rolling Stone, SPIN, Amazon Music, GQ UK, and Uproxx. Pigeons & Planes listed them as one of the best new artists.
