Fuji Rock Festival is held yearly at Naeba Ski Resort, Yuzawa-cho, Niigata Prefecture since 1999, though the 1997-98 editions were held at the base of Mount Fuji, hence the name. It’s the grand three-day event for music lovers across Japan and Asia organised by Smash Corporation. Much like Summer Sonic, its more urban mainstream sister, the festival showcases both Japanese and international acts.
