A local promoter confirmed today Goo Goo Dolls will bring Boxes Tour to Bangkok on February 13, 2017 at the BCC Hall, Central Plaza Ladprao.

This new date follows the band’s Asia tour announcement from two of months ago, when they confirmed shows in Taipei and Manila on February 9 and 11, respectively.
Tickets, now available through Thai Ticket Major, are all standing and one price of THB2,000 (2,200 at door).
Boxes Tour is in support of Goo Goo Dolls’ eleventh and latest album with the same name. The band is completing their two-month US tour, which will wrap up in Indio, California on December 10.

Formed in Buffalo, New York Goo Goo Dolls now consists of two original lineup John Rzeznik and Robby Takac. They’ve sold more than 12 million albums and are responsible for alternative hits like “Name”, “Sympathy”,”Slide” and most notably “Iris”, which spent 17 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Adult Top 40 chart and stayed on the chart for almost a year later. The band has earned four Grammy Awards nominations, and frontman John Rzeznik was honoured with the Songwriters Hall of Fame Hal David Starlight Award.
