Seoul-based HYUKOH and Taipei-based Sunset Rollercoaster have joined forces to release the highly anticipated album AAA. This unique project showcases the creative synergy between the two bands, offering an eight-track journey that blends their distinct musical styles.

The Creation of ‘AAA’

The album ‘AAA’ emerged from the musical camaraderie between HYUKOH and Sunset Rollercoaster, who bonded over shared artistic visions. Their collaboration began in earnest during Sunset Rollercoaster’s visit to Seoul in March 2023. Recognizing their chemistry, the bands embarked on a full-length project, resulting in a captivating collection of songs. The album features previously released singles like “Young Man” and “Antenna” and the focus track “Glue.”

A Musical Dialogue Across Borders

HYUKOH and Sunset Rollercoaster describe themselves as a “troupe of music wanderers,” drawing inspiration from their travels across South Korea. The bands spend time jamming together, transforming their improvisations into the tracks that make up AAA. Despite differences in their paths and native languages, the album serves as a musical dialogue highlighting their deep connection.
