Hot off the release of the ‘Rain On Me’ MV with Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga has dropped new flavourful track ‘Sour Candy’ with K-pop supergroup BLACKPINK.
Mother Monster’s Little Monsters, as well as the BLINK fandom, are in for a sweet (and sour) treat. Ahead of Lady Gaga’s Chromatica album release tomorrow, the singer has dropped a brand new collaboration track today featuring K-pop supergroup BLACKPINK.
The confectionery track is the third song released from Mother Monster’s upcoming album following the recent release of her music video of ‘Rain On Me’ with singer-songwriter Ariana Grande earlier this week and lead single ‘Stupid Love’ in January.
Originally scheduled for release on April 10, Chromatica was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Little Monsters need not wait for Mother Monster’s newest album any longer as the album is now prepping for release tomorrow (Friday, May 29). The highly-anticipated record is Gaga’s first album in four years since her previous album, Joanne in 2016 (or two years if we count the A Star Is Born soundtrack in 2018).
Chromatica is dedicated to Gaga’s love for electronic music, with the record being produced by electronic music producers such as Axwell, Boys Noize, BURNS, Madeon, Skrillex and Tchami. The album also features a collaboration track with Elton John.
Listen to Sour Candy below. Here’s hoping there’s a music video in the works!
