Linkin Park and Fort Minor’s Mike Shinoda is set to play a solo show in Bangkok.
The American multi-hyphenate this morning shared a doodle on Instagram captioned “Sawadeecup”, teasing a new show announcement on May 6, 9pm PST (May 7, 11am local).

In a separate post, Shinoda confirmed a to-be-dated gig in Hong Kong. Both shows look set to be in August, around the time of his stint at Summer Sonic Tokyo and Osaka on August 18-19.
The Bangkok concert, organised by BEC-Tero and Live Nation, will accompany Shinoda’s debut solo album Post Traumatic, which relates his feelings in the wake of Chester Bennington’s passing. It is due for a release on June 15.

He released the three-track Post Traumatic EP in January, followed by new singles “Crossing a Line”/”Nothing Makes Sense Anymore” and “About You” featuring Blackbear, all of which will be on the album.
The Linkin Park co-founder was last in Bangkok with his bandmates in 2011, playing Aktiv Square Muang Thong Thani on A Thousand Suns World Tour.
