There’s a lot to take in for One Direction fans this week. Louis and his ex Briana Jungwirth had a Tomlinson (whose name is rumoured to be very curious) but the biggest news seems to be about Zayn’s thoughts on reuniting with his ex-bandmates.
When asked about the possibility of a reunion Zayn told The Sunday Times’ Culture magazine, “Who knows?… I don’t know. If the time was right and that was the thing to do, then I would make that decision when it came around.”
He also hinted to the magazine that although he’s releasing a solo record in the Spring, with its first single out this Friday (Jan 29), he may be taking some time off to further his studies. For Zayn, education is something that is really just for him: “when my kids ask me, in the future, and I try to tell them to go to school, they can’t turn around and say to me, ‘F— off, Dad, you were in a band!’ I can turn around and say, ‘Excuse me, I went back to school and got my degree. So you definitely have to do your schoolwork!”
While fans await Zayn’s “Pillow Talk” later this week, they can already wallow in the sweet nostalgia that his One Direction’s “History”. The quartet released this morning a music video for their final single from Made In The AM.
Since the video is about how all five members came together and made a history in pop music, Zayn, of course, made an appearance. The past footages of the band sure put a smile of many fans’ faces. Even though the symbolic walk at the end show that all the members are going different paths after this, it’s not really a good bye. As Louis puts it, “This is not the end / This is not the end / We can make it you know it, you know.”
