The Dutch duo have released their new collaborative single, ‘Pum Pum’, with American producer Sevenn via their label Skink.

‘Pum Pum’, out now via Showtek’s label Skink, showcases the brothers’ return to their signature club sound after the release of their pop-oriented singles ‘Someone Like Me’ and ‘Show Some Love’.

For this new single, they have recruited Sevenn, known for his groundbreaking singles such as ‘BOOM’ with Tiësto, ‘Byob’ and ‘The Wall’ with Alok.

Showtek says,

“The original idea for ‘Pum Pum’ was created on our Stereosonic tour in Australia, during a studio session in Melbourne, together with singer/songwriter Sonny Wilson and GC. We have worked on a few ideas for a while, but eventually, it all came together when we collaborated with Sevenn. You can really hear the mixture between our music style and the style of Sevenn. We are very happy how this song came together and are excited about its release. The gimmick of the song, the chopped-up vocal drop, is ideal for the clubs and festivals and will satisfy our fans who can’t wait to go out and party with us again.”

Showtek first exploded onto the global dance scene in 2012 with popular singles ‘Cannonball’ and ‘Booyah’, the latter reaching the top 5 spot in the UK Singles Chart and becoming their first worldwide major hit.

They followed up with ‘Bad’ with David Guetta which amassed over one billion streams. Outside the EDM scene, they help produce radio hits for Chris Brown on ‘Nobody’s Perfect’ and Carly Rae Jepsen on their remix of ‘Tonight I’m Getting Over You’.

The Dutch duo have performed in main stages all around the world at festivals including Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Music Festival, Creamfields, Lollapalooza, Electric Zoo, among others.
