Superorganism have returned with new single ‘Teenager’ featuring Japanese rock group CHAI and indie pop musician Pi Ja Ma. Their second studio album, World Wide Pop,Β will be out July 15.

‘Teenager’ is the first single from Superorganism’s forthcoming second studio album, World Wide Pop.Β The new 13-track album album follows the release of their debut LP in 2018.

The song “celebrates holding onto the raw passion and emotion of those formative years and is a rejection of cynicism.”

The group also released an accompanying goofy and trippy music video directed by Stuart Price featuring comedian and YouTuber Brian Jordan Alvarez (Will and Grace) dancing around in just briefs and sneakers.

World Wide Pop will bring in wide variety of collaborators including the aforementioned CHAI and Pi Ja Ma as well as legendary indie rock musician Stephen Malkmus and actor Gen Hoshino.

The new album comes out on July 15.
