Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon is making a solo comeback this month with second mini-album Why.
The album, due June 28, is teased as a trendy pop record, with electronic R&B “Why” as the title track.
The Girls’ Generation leader reportedly went to the US to film the music video last month. Teaser images have also been released, showing the 27-year-old South Korean songstress enjoying the California sunshine.
Following the EP’s release, she will hold a solo concert, titled “Taeyeon, Butterfly Kiss” at Seoul’s Olympic Park on July 9 and 10, and fan meetings on August 6 and 7.
