Can you tell us more about “Autopilot” ? Any interesting story behind the song title ?

I wrote Autopilot during my first few months living abroad in Boston, when I had to move for university. Living alone so far away from home for the first time took a toll on me. I felt homesick and having to adjust to a huge amount of workload, and coming back to offline classes was incredibly hard. I struggled keeping my grades up and had to work tirelessly, even on weekends.

Out of all the music you have produced, which track are you most proud of and why?

Autopilot holds a special place in my heart given it was the first track I wrote on the EP. I love the meaning behind the song – it’s very special to me, and it helped me process emotions I was struggling to deal with.

What’s the ultimate goal as a Singer?

Just to keep writing and performing for as long as I can!

How did you figure out your identity and your place in the music industry?

Experience, experimenting and by taking inspiration from artists such as Norah Jones & NIKI!

How do you constantly push yourself to progress and upgrade yourself?

I think writing has really taken me out of my comfort zone, but also just remembering the reasons for me doing music in the first place.

What is your dress code for each show ?

I like to keep my clothing when performing stylish, but comfortable.

What are the 3 most important items you pack in your bag when touring?

Phone, lipgloss, and my trusty headphones.

Are the any other β€˜bucket list’ festivals or shows that you dream of playing?

I spend lots of time in LA, so would love to do some more shows there! Festivals in Indonesia would be great, and Coachella would be awesome too!

Sie’s new music and upcoming shows are sure to be a hit with fans. She is a talented singer and songwriter, and her music is both catchy and meaningful. Be sure to check out her new songs and catch her on tour!
