Looks like we’re getting more of Tomorrowland next year.
Never mind the fact that the Belgian festival denied Asia expansion rumours because, ravers and friends, Tomorrowland is extending their 2017 edition to two weeks!
But wait a second, doesn’t all this sound familiar? It’s because the organiser already announced back in 2014 they were holding a double weekend event due to unprecedentedly high demand from EDM fans not only in Europe but around the world. In the following year, however, Tomorrowland decided to return to its usual one-weekend blast.
Dance festival Mystic Valley is hitting Khao Yai this November
So the news of their expanding to two weeks once again couldn’t come more of a pleasant surprise. According to We Rave You, the Boom-based festival got a seal of approval from the local government to host the event from July 21-23 and from July 28-30 next year:
“The purpose of this [hosting the festival in 2 weekends] is to meet the huge demand for tickets from international and local fans. Meanwhile, with the blessing of the municipalities of Boom & Rumst, we can go ahead and start preparing for 2 weekends as of next summer.”
More details will be announced in January. Stay tuned as AsiaLive365 brings you the latest news and exclusive deals as Tomorrowland’s official Travel Partner.
