Good news, Bangkokians! British alt-rockers Wolf Alice are heading over for Mangosteen Music Festival this September.

As the first edition of the festival is happening today with Honne as the headliner, the promoter JAMM has officially confirmed Wolf Alice for their second edition of Mangosteen Music Festival. The show will mark the band their first time in Bangkok.

The promoter announced the news today through the posters in public restrooms at Mangosteen Music Festival happening today featured Honne. The festival will return on Saturday, September 15 with Wolf Alice as headliner. However, the location TBC. The band will take the stage at Voice Space.

Mangosteen Music Festival bills Wolf Alice for its second edition

On the night, British 4-piece will be sharing the stage with two homegrown talents Yellow Fang and Violette Wautier. Gig-goers can expect to sing along Wolf Alice’s hits like “Yuk Foo”, “Don’t Delete The Kisses” and “Beautiful Unconventional”.

Wolf Alice consist Ellie Rowsell (Vocals), Joel Amey (drums), Joff Oddie (guitar) and Theo Ellis (bass). The band is best known for its mixture of grunge and folk sounds. The band earned the public attention through the releases of “Leaving You” and “Moaning Lisa Smile”.

In 2014, the Grammy nominated band joined Dirty Hit, a records label that signed popular indie bands like The1975, The Japanese House and Pale Waves. Currently, the band have two albums under their belt— My Love Is Cool and Visions of a Life.
