South East Asian fans of 5 Seconds of Summer can now rejoice as the pop-punk four-piece announced second headlining tour “Sounds Live Feels Live” is coming to Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines on March 3, 5, 8 and 12, 2016 consecutively.
The tour will kick off with three shows in Japan in February and continue in arenas across Asia before wrapping up in Manila. Check out venue details and other dates below:
According to Music Management Asia‘s Facebook page, tickets for the Manila show go on sale this November 7, ranging from 2,000 to 12,000 pesos. You can visit SM Tickets for purchase. Ticket information for other shows are yet to be released. Stay tuned as we bring you the latest updates!
This will be the first time Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Ashton Irwin and Calum Hood embark on a full-on Asia tour after making only one stop in Tokyo for “Rock Out with Your Socks” Tour back in February. And no doubt, more countries means more blast.
“We are going to try and make this tour even better than the last and the best live show possible for you guys,” the band proclaimed in the press release. “This is such a huge thing for us to be able to come and see you all. We can’t wait to play you the new album and loads more, we love you guys and hope you are as excited as we are.”
After supporting One Direction in 2013, 5 Seconds of Summer have made quite a name for themselves—a name that should be taken seriously. They rose to prominence amidst the Gen Y and Z boyband phenomenon but are hell-bent on proving they’re no pretty faces posing as a rock band. They’re responsible for hits like “She Looks So Perfect”, “Don’t Stop” and “Amnesia”, and new singles “She’s Kinda Hot” and “Hey Everybody!” are already on their way to becoming the next punk anthems.
Be sure to get their second album Sounds Good Feels Good, out on October 23.
