No Wu-Tang Clan for you this summer, Bangkok. Organiser Godzillionaire Entertainment announced Friday new riverside dance festival Golden Axe has been postponed to a later date due to an agreement with a deemed competing event held concurrently on May 19-20.
“As we came to a mutual agreement with Warp Music Festival, Golden Axe Music Festival will be postponed to a later date,” the festival team announced on Facebook, adding refund methods will be made available soon.

The party isn’t entirely put on hold, however. Golden Axe will instead hold a Road to Ultra-type event featuring the noughties’ prevalent rapper Nelly, titled Road to Golden Axe Music Festival: Nelly Live in Bangkok, on Thursday, May 17.
The concert will take place at Muang Thai GMM Live House, Central World. Golden Axe ticket holders can enter the concert for free as a VIP in addition to obtaining a full refund. Tickets are on sale to the public starting March 30 via Thai Ticket Major. VIP and VVIP perks include a meet and greet with Nelly.
