Adele kept the show going after the sound cut out during her performance of “All I Ask” at the Birmingham NEC Genting Arena Saturday night.
A fan video from April 2 shows the 27-year-old Grammy winner unaware that she was singing the second chorus without the piano and working amplification system.

Despite not hearing a thing, the audience seated further off joined the singer and sang along until the end of the song. Results? Chills. Watch the video below.
Adele later revealed to the crowd she had no idea there was a technical difficulty.
“Why did you all start cheering mid-way through? It scared the life out of me. I thought there was a streaker on stage. What was that?” Adele asked. “The sound went off? The PA fucking cut off? Well, it didn’t cut off in my ears. I could hear myself.”

She then joked that those in the front row got their own little private show, and about lip syncing claims, “Tell them I wasn’t miming. They might think I was miming, I wasn’t miming. Every fucking show I sing live!”
One can’t help wondering what it is with “All I Ask” and technical issues. We don’t have the answer but we do know this: whatever it is, the Brit singer and her fans will carry on, and everyone will save the day.
