The world’s most famous mechanical spider Arcadia Spectacular is finally making its way to Taiwan and Korea this autumn.

After a successful Asia debut at Bangkok’s Gravity Thailand back in November 2014, the 50-tonne spider is now expanding to entertain ravers in Seoul and Taipei.

The spider will first visit Seoul on September 2-3 at Seoul’s historic Olympic Stadium. The 20-meter tall spider, which features 50 foot fireballs, C02 jets, and 360 degree multi sensory immersion, will transform the stage into a world of magnificent mechanical creatures, extraterritorials and giant fireballs.

Arcadia will then head for Taipei on October 9, landing in the middle of Taipei’s Riverside Park.

According to festival founders Pip Rush, “It’s been an amazing year and we’re really proud to have the opportunity to take Arcadia into new countries and cultures. Seeing the Spider in so many new settings surrounded by people from so many different backgrounds is going to be incredibly special.”
