The new version of Foo Fighters’ ‘Times Like These’ is being released as a single for charity, with proceeds going to support COVID-19 relief efforts.
Some of the world’s biggest music stars have united together to record a new version of the Foo Fighters song, ‘Times Like These’. The song premiered on the special Stay Home edition of BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge segment.
Artists and bands singing the song include Foo Fighters, Dua Lipa, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Ellie Goulding, Sean Paul, Sigrid, Biffy Clyro, Rita Ora, Hailee Steinfeld, 5 Seconds Of Summer’s Luke Hemmings, YUNGBLUD, Bastille, Royal Blood, Anne-Marie, Sam Fender, Rag N Bone Man, Paloma Faith, Jess Glynne, Grace Carter, Dermot Kennedy, AJ Tracey, Celeste, and Mabel.
Originally released as the second single from the Foo Fighters’ 2003 album, One by One, ‘Times Like These’ is a fitting song as a response to the current ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Produced by Fraser T. Smith, the single is released for charity. All proceeds made from the single will go to COVID-19 relief efforts including BBC Children In Need, Comic Relief, and the WHO’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
